Pay Philosophy – General Information

• Umpires have lives, vocations, and families and their time shall not be wasted.
• Two-way communication is essential.
• Failing to notify umpires will cost responsible party money.
• Start games on time when possible – players should be warmed up and ready to play.
• Pre-game conference is 5 minutes before game time.
• Teams need to decide in 30 minute blocks of time about conditions for play.
  • Each additional 30 minute delay in starting costs more in game fees.
  • A block starts on minute 1 of the 30 minutes (i.e. minute 31 is the second block).
